Paper Town is a handmade place — no algorithms, no data harvesting, no surveillance behind the scenes. This document is written in the same spirit: plain, careful, and honest.
What we fold into our records
We fold nothing personal into our records. No player name, no craft history, no location tag is ever collected or stored in Paper Town.
The workshop log (server logs)
A craftsperson's workshop keeps a basic log. Ours may note: your browser type, device category, and a shortened, anonymised IP. These entries are only used to confirm the workshop is running smoothly.
No invisible ink (trackers)
Paper Town uses no advertising trackers, no behavioural cookies, and no analytics scripts. There is no invisible ink on these pages.
Paper supplier (Google Fonts)
Our typefaces arrive from Google Fonts. Your browser's connection to Google's servers may include your IP. Google holds their own fold of that information — review their privacy policy for details.
Young craftspeople
Paper Town is a calm, creative game suitable for all ages. No violence, no gambling, no restricted content. Every folder is welcome regardless of age. We collect nothing from any visitor.
Edition updates
Should our practices change, this document will be refolded with a new date. Playing after a change signals your acceptance of the updated terms.
